After upwards of 30 cruises we jumped at the opportunity to host on a multi yacht charter in Croatia. To say we were blown away was an understatement! We were part of a three yacht convoy with Katarina Line on their superior deluxe vessels Aurelia, Adriatic Sun and Ave Maria.
These yachts are the perfect size to get into the out of the way places in the Dalmatian islands and make it super easy to get on and off. With 19 cabins each, it’s a fantastic way to meet people and develop great friendships. It has a super yacht feel, but with more culture.
My favourite place was the sun deck, a place to lie out and relax and watch the world go by. Being in such enclosed water protected by islands, it’s smooth sailing all the way. A tour guide also accompanies the yacht so any questions about the local history, customs, restaurant recommendations can be answered right there!
Some of the yachts have their own swimming pools, most have a jacuzzi and all will give you an incredible up close and authentic experience of Croatia. The season runs from around April to October each year with over 35 different itineraries.
Would we do this cruise again? Absolutely, in a heart beat!
